Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of Tasmania's Overland Track, the Waterfall Valley Hut stands proudly as the very first overnight node along this iconic hiking trail. Crafted with care and designed to immerse you in the breathtaking surroundings, this hut offers a remarkable blend of comfort and natural splendor.
The creation of this exceptional hut was no small feat. Our dedicated crew faced the harsh challenges of wet and snowy conditions during construction. In the unforgiving Tasmanian wilderness, tools and equipment were swallowed by the snow, adding an extra layer of complexity to the project.
Our construction methods, driven by innovation and precision, incorporated prefabrication techniques to streamline the process. Helicopter operations were essential in transporting materials and assembling the hut in this remote location. It was a true testament to human determination and resilience.
The hut features engravings on ply linings, Tasmanian Oak Flooring, grand scale windows which take in the awe inspiring view of Barn Bluff and a mini version for the rangers comfort.
